U16 Boys defeat Sligo to reach league final

Creggs under 16 boys played Sligo at home in the league semi-final on Saturday.

In a very tight match, a try by Harry Kilcoyne and a penalty by Kaylum Curran gave the home team a one point win. The final score being eight points to 7 points.

Both 10s missed very kickable penalties in the closing minutes, Creggs to secure a win and Sligo kick to win the game. It was that close.

The win gives the Creggs boys a place in the league final against either Buccaneers or Galway Bay. This is one step closer than they achieved last year after been beaten in the semi-final. This team has two weeks to recover before the final.
