U13 League: Creggs 31 Castlebar 7

Creggs U13’s secured a very good win against Castlebar in Creggs last sunday morning. Played in wet and windy conditions it was a credit to both teams that this game was such am entertaining fixture.

The first half was very even and Creggs took a lead after 10 minutes when Sean Tully picked up from close range and dived over for a 5-0 lead. This lead was held right up to the end of the first half when Castlebar scored a try of their own and converted it for a 7-5 lead.

The second half Creggs had the better of the play and further tries from Kark Healy, Paddy Gannon, Ton Farrell and Mark Purcell, and 3 conversions from Mark Purcell completed the scoring for Creggs
