CBS took on Davitt College from Castlebar in the first of their league games in Creggs last Wednesday afternoon and scored 9 tries in a 51-7 victory. CBS started the game poorly and went 7 points down after 5 minutes but took control thereafter and tries from Michael Feeley, Richard Hughes, Brian Diffley and James Brandon and conversions from Jack Gunning and Shane Purcell gave CBS the points.

CBS and St Marys Ballygar meet in the next round of the league next Monday the 28th of January at 11am in Creggs in what promises to be a great local Derby. Most of the players involved would be involved with Creggs U15’s and Creggs U16’s and would know each other very well and we wish both teams the best of luck in this game and rest of the competition.
