Congratulations to Cloontuskert National School, who played in the Aviva National Blitz in the Aviva Stadium last week. They represented Creggs Rugby in the Connacht Aldi Tag Blitz, and qualified for the trip to Dublin last week, where they also met the Munster and Irish legend, Paul O’Connell.

The children from Cloontuskert National School, pictured in the Aviva Stadium last week for the Aldi National Tag Rugby Blitz. Also in the picture are Lorraine Collins, Padraic Connerton (School Principle), the legendary Paul O’Connell, and Pat O’Gorman (Team Coach).

Well done to all the children, their teachers and parents who enjoy a great day in Dublin at the home of Irish rugby.

The ethos of mini rugby is to foster and develop young players (boys & girls) of all ability in the game of rugby in a safe, non competitive, enjoyable environment through activities which ensure progressive skill development for all participants in line with the IRFU Long Term Player Development (LTPD) pathway, Child Welfare Policy and traditions of Rugby Union.
