Creggs RFC U.16 boys played Monivea RFC in a league match in Creggs. Due to the extremely poor weather over the last few days Monivea’s pitch wasn’t playable so the game was moved to Creggs. The home side had the better of the first half and led 12- 0 at the break. Monivea started the second half strongly and Creggs were under pressure defensively and lost a couple of players to injuries. After conceding a number of penalties Creggs had a player yellow carded where the visitors took full advantage and scored 3 tries in this period. Creggs fought back and scored a try to level the game and home side finished strongly but ran out of time leaving a final score a draw at Creggs 17 Monivea 17. Creggs try scorers were Aydin Odemis x2 and Tomas Lohan with Calvin Beckett adding one conversion. Thanks to Adam Farrell and Dara Cummins for helping out.
