Creggs RFC U.14s welcomed Corinthians RFC back to Creggs for round eight of the league. These two teams met earlier in the season in Galway where the local team came out convincing winners. Creggs faced an uphill battle considering the loss of three players to injury and the unavailability of some other players. The visitors started well getting a scrum after a knock on at the kickoff. Corinthians picked from the back of the scrum and ran in for the opening score. The game continued in that vein as hard as Creggs tried they found it difficult to stop the wave of Corinthians players attacking the line. Creggs did manage two tries. One cross field kick by Liam Fleming to be collected by Daniel Foley. The second one coming from Rian Davis who barged over the line after some great forward play.Other players of not for Creggs were William Fallon, Zac Kelly and Jack Donoghue. The visitors finished clear winners. This squads next outing is away against Sligo in two weeks time.
