On Friday the Connacht Professional Squad had their private training session on our 4G pitch. This was in preparation for the upcoming season when they will use their new artificial pitch which is being laid presently in the Sports Ground in Galway. The full coaching team of Andy Friend, Peter Wilkins, Mossy Lawler and Colm Tucker were present to put the players through their session.  This was a slick run operation with up on 70 Connacht members present. The local Creggs National school were invited and the children were delighted to see their favourite internationals Bundee Aki and Mack Hansen and also included our own Denis Buckley. After the 2 hour session the team were fed before heading off from their visit to Creggs RFC. Both management and players spoke about playing on the 4G surface which was much appreciated by them.
