A tough day at the office for our U18.5s on Sunday as they traveled away to take on a determined Sligo side. While the 50-15 scoreline reflected a difficult afternoon where Creggs uncharacteristically struggled to find their rhythm, the boys kept working until the final whistle. It was one of those days where things just didn’t click but the experience will stand to the group as they move forward. Try scorers were Luke Kilcommons (x2) and Cian Trimble (1) Congratulations to Sligo RFC and we wish them the very best of luck as they progress in the Cup competition. A huge thank you to the U17 boys who stepped up to join the squad. Your hard work and commitment were a massive help and much appreciated by the coaches and the club. This side now move into the Plate competition, offering a fresh start and a chance for silverware. To get back to their best, commitment at training is now essential. They need the full group out on the pitch over the next fortnight to ensure they hit their stride for the next round.
